Our story

The Rustic Barkery is truly a labor of love. It began when I decided I wanted to make the most healthy, most wholesome, most organic, and most local treats for our dogs, both of whom are rescues. When we adopted our youngest pup from our local shelter, I saw first-hand the love, care, and tireless effort of the rescue staff and veterinarians involved. I immediately thought, “How can I keep giving back?” And that’s how The Rustic Barkery was born. For the first year, all the money from every single purchase will go to directly to our local shelter, and beyond that, a percentage of each purchase will be donated to them.
